Roman received his Juris Doctor from New York Law School, cum laude, and his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Political Science from Vanderbilt University. He is licensed to practice law in New York, New Jersey and the Federal Courts of New Jersey and New York’s Southern and Eastern Districts.
Prior to joining the firm, Roman worked at a Wall Street intellectual property firm, with a heavy emphasis on Federal trademark litigation. Throughout his time in law school, Roman spent his summers interning at the Superior Court of New Jersey, various civil litigation firms and the United Nations.
Since joining the firm in May of 2016, Roman has primarily specialized in Intellectual Property litigation, including opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, Federal litigation concerning trademark and copyright infringement, proceedings involving the Uniform Domain-Name Dispute Resolution Policy and a plethora of other issues relating to trademark clearance, licensing, prosecution and enforcement.
